Economy and law makes a very strong combination, most of us at Nordic Accounts have also a legal background besides competence in economy. This is a fairly rare phenomenon at accounting firms. There are four core legal areas in relation to economy where we generally provide assistence to our clients.

Corporate affairs

- consultancy in relation to company formation (advantages and disadvantages of respective company forms, company statutes, partnership agreements, foundation charters)
- we help you to create and update book of shares and letter of shares. Each joint - stock company is bound to keep a book of shares and keep it available to the public, it is a criminal offence to breach the relevant regulations of the Act on Joint - Stock Companies
- we can assist you in decreasing or increasing share capital in a joint- stock company, we help you to implement minor mergers or dissolutions
- we represent you before Bolagsverket, hand in all the statements that are prescribed by law
- we also help you with voluntary liquidations in the event you plan to voluntarily dissolve your company
- we prepare a control balance sheet in the event it is obligatory due to lack of capital

Labour law

- general consultancy in the field of labor law ( labor contract, rules concerning notices, dismissal, holiday rules )
- interpretation of the collective agreement if you have any, verify if you need to enter into obligatory insurance agreements on the basis of the collective agreement
- redundancy rules

Contract law

- we can provide you with the most common Swedish contract types and customize them on the basis of your needs
- interpretation of agreements, general problems in the field of contract law
- supply contracts

Criminal law

We also have competence as private defense counsels in various economy related crimes prescribed by the Swedish Criminal Code or Tax Fraud Act. To be succesful as a private defense counsel in relation to such crimes ( especially bookkeeping crime, tax fraud ) it is essential to have a solid legal and economic approach and to be able to create a synergy of these sciences. Since it often happens that besides the administrative proceedings ( before the Swedish Tax Authority or administrative courts ) even criminal proceedings are launched it is highly advantageous to have expertise in criminal law as well.
